The max speed is usually 58 Mbps. This goes down as the signal becomes less strong. It's hard to determine how fast the signal will weaken, it mostly depends on the distance and the amount of walls between your wireless router and your mum's computer. But it also depends on the material the walls are made of. In general, if your house isn't too big, you should have a decent signal all over your house.
You can add a USB wireless adapter or a network card that supports wireless to her computer (USB is easier ofcourse).
Costs:
- wireless switch: around 60 $
- wireless USB adapter: around 40 $?

well its rights below my room im upstairs and maybe 10 feet to the left so one story up higher and 10 feet to the left and the house is all drywall the one we have now is ok but i wanna see my other better options
