So, in your mind, all Muslims are terrorists? Wow, racist much? I'm sorry, but many of my friends are muslims, and they are good people, it's just a small minority that's making muslims look bad.

No. But due to the actions of said minority, i.e. Chechen rebels, their entire race paid the price.

Ok, by your logic all Christians are bad because of KKK.

Hey, let the U.S. provide funds and Stinger missiles to the Chechen rebels.

I'm sorry, but shooting civilians and blowing them up with artilleries don't help your "Peacekeeping" theory.

wow

Did I say it was a "peacekeeping" theory? I said Russian forces have come to the aid of their allies to wipe out the enemy that has invaded.

Oh and who started this war? Russians! Sarcasm NO, Georgians started this war by invading the pro-Russian South Ossetians. Russia strikes back in fiercesome force NO DIFFERENT then how Israel reacted to Hezbollah in the summer of 2006. But somehow the fault is with Russia?

And as for your quote above, there is a certain amount of civilian casualties and collateral damage that are an accepted norm in modern military warfare. Russia did not do anything excessive so far other than shelling a city that was OCCUPIED by Georgian troops and attacking Georgian military bases and oil depots deep within Georgia (and in the process killing some Georgian civilians as well).

It seemed to have worked as Georgian forces have fled the city.

Funny when Russia goes to war, civilian casualties are immediately brought up. In the same way, nobody wants to mention Iraqi civilian casualties due to the American invasion. And what about Lebanese civilian casualties due to Israel's war in 2006? I smell hypocrisy.

You didn't, but the Russian did.

Russia's armed forces' morale is so low, and with many budget cut, most of their equipment won't work, in a conventional war, even Germany can win.

This shows how slacking you have been in keeping current with Russian economic and military development over the past 8 years.

In 2001, President Putin authorized a massive funding program to rebuild the Russian Air Force. In the years after that, other arms of the Russian military has been rebuilt with more funding.

Russia is rich now, the economy has stablized from the tumultous era of the early 90's, and the military has grown stronger. Russia stopped being a broken nation around 2005. They have been strong and getting stronger since.

I'm sorry, is that why the average Russian citizen still live below Western standards?

Completely relevant, same situation was faced by Georgian and Russian Presidents.

There was no 3rd side in Chechnya. It was Chechen rebels vs Russian government. No ally to protect. Your statement is irrelavent.

If you like Russia so much, go live in it.

I see you have ran out of your supply of crap.

Yeah sure you believe that.
