Iraq, conventional-military-wise, yes. If the Iraqi situation was over, however, then soldiers and civilians wouldn't continue to be having their lives taken away. The moment silence rules over is the moment when others seize power, broken free of the restraint of opinion. Hey, it's a human world.
As for the pictures, it can be easily seen as a shining trophy held highly by America. Surely, we need to show what we accomplished over there (you know how world opinions go), but to broadcast it because of a few people questioning the claim of the Hussein sons' deaths, spurring even more anti-American views in the Arab world? Saddam and his sons committed too many acts that are sickening on a moral scale, yet we now parade the bodies of dead, mutilated (and reconstructed) humans.
