I'd go with a Powerpoint, or the screensaver because both will be simple to change, edit, and display.
If I were a customer, I wouldn't give a damn how nice it looks, just as long as the menu is displayed clearly, and is easy on the eyes. I want a cheeseburger and fries... not some animation with 'super motion tweening, fading, whatever-the-hell Flash does these days' .
