Although this is already an outdated discussion, my biggest wish is that they'd stop adding so many dumb features that just rape resources, much like you mentioned. I just want a straightforward OS that works solidly, all the time, every time. Granted, there were a few tiny little additions that I liked. If I could get those with XP, I'd never switch.
