Screw religion, it's the catalyst for bad stuff.

Ignorance is the catalyst for bad stuff....stop being ignorant.

That's why the Pope called the crusades because the Muslims were holding Jerusalem, and how Muslim Extremists groups are using the Koran to manipulate people into thinking suiciding bombing=right. Am I right?

Pope = Religion? lol

Just because people who have religious beliefs manipulate them to serve their own personal selfish desires doesn't mean the religion they manipulate is bad. I can make the counter argument that atheism is bad by saying that the Soviet (atheist state) discrimination and persecution of political and ethnic groups was because of atheism. Ignorance of others and human greed drive acts such as terrorism and illegitimate wars because every person holds desires to steal, to commit violent action onto someone, or to fear what is unknown or strange, blaming religion is not the source of the problem, but a distraction to the real purpose of the crime.

Religion plays a big part in this matter (of homosexuality) and it is in no way a distraction to the "real purpose of the crime."

I nowhere in my post mentioned anything about homosexuality. And for clarification if you misunderstood me, homosexuality is not a crime.

Well, you projected a squeaky clean image of religion that is easily disputable.

It's a crime if you live in a Muslim country.

Punishable by death.

I present a "squeaky clean image" because we have yet to get into specifics. I was only countering the notion that religion which I can only presume to be all since it is generalized is the "catalyst for bad stuff" which is simply not true. I was meaning no issue and no religion in particular, if you want to start a debate on Islam and homosexuality, great, but saying one religion is bad won't become a universal law for all religions.

I have never said and will never say that all religions are good. If you get that perception from me you are mistaken.

Sorry if you misunderstand when I say that homosexuality is not a crime, I am simply giving my opinion on the matter, nothing more.
