My dads old stereo system from the late 80's still works, just like that, good sound quality, I might try and buy it from him, new sound card and rewire it.. and well.. you know, even more win.

Would probably be good indeed. I also got some old "vintage" stuff.

My last post made me seem like this is a contest.. Didn't mean to come off as that, but yeah, old sound systems usually have great sound quality, with some new school technology the chances are win, and lots of it. Smile

My brother has a £300 Technics stereo system (Bought in 2005/2006) and the sound it gave off was awesome, I just had to get a sub-woofer with two quality speakers and a good sound card, Technics are probably one of those brands that deliver all the time, can't beat their stereos.


Presence is a curious thing, if you think you need to prove it... you probably never had it in the first place.
