I'm getting a Compal IFL90 rather soon.

2.4Ghz Santa Rosa Core 2 Duo
2GB 667Mhz DDR2
120GB 7200RPM HDD
512MB GeForce 8600M GT
AGN WiFi
DVD Burner
2.0 MegaPixel built-in webcam
Fingerprint scanner
TPM module (I think)
Nine-cell battery
etc.

$1150. Probably would of been cheaper if I waited until after I got the money to make a deal. My grants have been lagging it

You can get some good used ones on the NotebookReview forums.
