1)just copy the files and paste on another CD=100% copy.

#2 fails when your harddrive crashes, so I would do #1 anyway, but use #2 normally.


How dumb can you be to buy a HDD that acually fails/crashes LOL?
(Not saying you specifically, but to anyone that, that does happen to).

All hard drives will fail at some point. How dumb do you have to be to not realize that? Oh, trooprm02 dumb.

It is a given that a harddrive will eventually fail. The question is when... Sometimes it is within a year, and sometimes a harddrive can live like decades.


Indeed, I had a WD that lived just under six years under really heavy use. It went out with a puff of smoke...
