I expect nothing less from these forums, its just the behavior of them. Don't sweat it. I am going to have a new motherboard on the way (a RMA replacement), but first I have to call ASUSTek and ask for a product box... talk about geekdom.

I think two things happened. 1. The processor was damaged. 2. The BIOS on the motherboard was damaged. Regarding #2, I was using a BETA BIOS, but I'm not sure if that had anything to do with it.

So I guess for now I just have to sit and wait until I get the new replacement.
