Start Renguard. (Don't start renegade, or if you've got it on auto-start, close it straight away)

Let Renguard have sometime to scan everything (give it a minute) then try Renegade.

Did you install Renegade in this order;

Install Renegade

Install Renegade patch

Install Renguard

Install Core patch
