Could you have logged in before installing rengaurd?
if so, then try uninstalling it, it is in the renegade directory which is C:/westwood/renegade
look for a trash bik icon that says uninstall and click it, it will ask if you want to remove rengaurd, I doubt rg is the problem, but it's best to try anything.
