Not entirely true. The video work is done through software, that is, the CPU, but it's not like you can change the software drivers and have a new video card. It's worked through software, but it's still the same piece of video hardware.

I've used the Dell provided drivers (yes, I have a Dell too, though I'm using an AGP card) and the Intel ones, and saw no difference. Those are the only two drivers for it that im aware of.
