You don't have to try another hard- drive if it doesn't boot at all.

Just use 1 Mem stick, One PSU, VGA, CPU. That's it keep it as plain as possible and then strip of the remaining possibility's.

Something else:
If you know how you can bootup the motherboard with a screw dryer. Put the motherboard on a surface which does NOT conduct electricty, insome cases there is a short circuit between the case and motherboard, the only way you can find out is by doing this.
Only if you have an Idea of what I mean else leave this part, because if you toch the motherboard with a screw dryer on the wrong place it could be over.
