He told me he saw a computer once while he was walking the wire at a military base in Italy.

Anyone joining the Military is also a soldier, first and foremost. They will be called upon to learn basic weapons skills and may be expected to use them.

Computers users are no exception.

So you wouldn't mind a bald faced lie? After you sign the papers they don't even pretend to keep their word.
