| It was, until the 7600GT came along. It was better and cheaper than the 6800GT, and performed just shyly of the 7800GS while being much cheaper. The 6600GT was good, but it's not the best bang for the buck anymore. In modern times, I think the 8800GTS 320MB actually holds that title.

| Gainward released a card called the Golden Sample 7800GS+ Bliss (or something like that). What many don't know is that it's actually a 7900GT. It has all 24 pixel pipelines and all. That's the fastest, though I don't know if nVidia "officially" released it, so you're kind of right.
