Normally, I would try and defend the whole "but he hasn't broken any rules" argument, but I feel the opposite for this situation.

I feel that troop isn't worth the bandwidth he uses. Granted, most people here aren't worth it, either, but troop seems to always rear his ugly head in just about every thread, rarely ever contributing to the subject at hand. Even Viking contributes more often than troop does, and that's saying a lot.

Sure, he can just be put on ignore, but I feel that he's long overstayed his welcome. It's not just one or two people annoyed by him for no reason. It's easily half the active community annoyed by him because he does nothing but drag down this community. I have yet to see one person come to his aide in a thread.
