No, the server was updated with scripts.dll mods which we do alot, and when he tried restarting it it wouldnt work, found out server.ini was missing, so he backed it up with a backup file all with same serial and hostname in it....no go....cant create channel. Like I said, the only way to fix it was to rename the hostname and add his own serial rather than using the old one which used to work all the time...and yes they are both offical renegade serials.
