I noticed that 9/10 I would exit from the back. Theres been a few times where i've exited from the top left/right which has led to me being killed by the base defences. The way I get around this is I park the APC side-on so whereever I may exit from I don't get killed. However, this isn't really effective if you're going to go for ped.
