I worked my way up to $8 from $6 once I was made a crew leader. 8 dollars an hour was alot to me...it still would be if I wasn't being paid a set amount from one of the local schools. Fast food places always get something wrong because it's hard to make everyone their own special thing...and if it's wrong, you can just take it back and ask for a new one. As for the drive through...more can go wrong because of the intercoms...if you think it's just hard for you to understand what they're saying, try listening to a person speak over a diesel engine.

Yes the kid would care if he got fired. even though it doesn't particularly matter...it's still a good thing to have your own source of income when you live with your parents. it's nice to be able to get some of the luxuries in life...and I can assure you, with the job market the way it is...it is extremely hard to find another job that the kid could possibly do.
