Ok, for simplicity reasons i moved the w3d file to C:\
(in my testcase i used vehcol2m.w3d)

start, run, cmd
cd\
C:\w3dren.exe vehcol2m.w3d hunnypants.w3d

and it spits out the file next to the original
hunnypants.w3d in this case. I think this is the right way, since i never really used md before.
