see thats exactly my point most of the people i know that are respectful and well mannered have at some point been physically taught manners by their parents. so whats so bad with spanking your child if its well deserved, i see nothing wrong with it. and i mean sure in north america your child can call the child protection services and report you, but in the end if your child keeps misbehaving and reporting you he/she will be taken away. personally i think for a child that would be even worse so no matter what if your child doesnt get the point of why they are being spanked and will get a foster home then perhaps this is the best for them... since in that case it is safe to assume you were failing at being a parent or your child just would not abide by your rules and no compromise could be reached
