And remember, people were probably saying 1gb of RAM was OMGamazing back in the Windows 98 days. The hardware will rise up to meet the software. When I got the PC I'm using now, it had 512mb or RAM, and that was wicked. ~4 years later, 2gb isn't that uncommon (I have 1 gig in it now). 1 GB has been pretty standard for a while now. By the time there's a reason to upgrade to Vista besides making your ePenis bigger, then I'm sure a PC with 2gb of RAM will be common.
