A while ago, the Renguard servers where flooded by script kiddies. It caused some disconnects from renguard clients and some other problems.

Also, it's not necessarely a Renguard problem. When your renegade crashes, Renguard will automatically disconnect but the window stays up and give you the illusion it caused the crash.
