Have you checked your connection to see if you are losing packets?
Here is the text for two .bat files. Just copy and paste into notepad and give it the .bat file extension. Then double click to run it. To show file extensions,
In windows explorer tool bar >tools > folder options > view > un-tick "hide extensions for known file types"

If you don't have a firewall or XP SP2 you will be able to recieve
"incoming echo requests"

The 127.0.0.1 is your computer or localhost. The ping should be less than
1 millisecond. The 70.84.132.91 is = to www.renegadeforums.com you can use your
ISP domain if it's ping-able, or any domain that's ping-able. I would suggest pinging your ISP or another number in that domain.

ping -t will ping the server until you press
CTRL + C ping -a will only ping it 4 times.
