I think if you have a corrupted gamelog file it can cause it to be unable to load properly.... not sure though.

If it is you could just delete the gamelog txt files for old games ( or if you want to keep them move them all to a seperate folder, and move them back 5 or so at a time so you can single out the damaged one and remove just that )
