Interesting articles. Unfortunately this isn't new news, so I'm not sure what the habub is all about.

UNMOVIC already gave us this information. Interestingly enough, while no one doubts that Saddam was about as cooperative as a rape victim, the weapons were never destroyed in the first place but were still scheduled to be. If it weren't for the invasion that stopped the disarmament not two days prior, they would have been disabled in the coming months.

Frankly, after the invasion I can't blame the former army for using the weapons they had. It wasn't like the Coalition was gonna step in and say "Ok, you can fight this catch 22, but you're not allowed to use those weapons you said you were gonna destroy!!!!!11111"
