You can use the Renguard SSC, but I think that means if you don't run renguard, you get kicked, i.e. no !forcerg.
Or you can use a bot that supports RG. (I think BrenBot is the only one...?)

As for a serial, you can use the same one that you used to intall your Renegade game. If you've lost it or whatever, you can use v00d00's Renegade Serial Changer tool to see the serial you used to install.
