The problem isn't that Sony is making re-rendered images. It's that they're trying to pass it off as that's what the PS3 will really look like.

Remember back when their released the first screenshots of Killzone 2? Sony said that's what it was going to look like in game.

But that claim backfired. Big time. The producer of the CGI videos for Killzone 2 came out and said that the above picture was NOT accurate in displaying actual real time graphics for the PS3. It was a CGI movie but Sony tried to insist that it was real time PS3 graphics being shown.

I don't really care what Sony rips off from Nintendo or charges for the PS3. What I dislike about them is the fact that they lie about their products all the time. Like that time they said the PS2 was going to have "Toy Story quality graphics". Thumbs Up
