The Medium Tank is most useful against the Flame Tank since it is not much slower, and so can almost destroy the Flame Tank before it gets within range to do a lot of damage. APCs can also be useful if there aren't many other enemies around, since they can outrun Flame Tanks. Sometimes it's funny to get an APC and have some idiot chase you around with a Flamer.
