When you are connecting to a server on your local LAN, the server sees your IP as the local IP (like 192.168.0.x) instead of your real internet IP, and reports it like this to RG, which causes the "player is not running renguard" problem.

The way around this for the server owner is to create an ssc_ignore.txt file and put your playername in it, RG will then ignore the fact that you do not have RG (It wont say that you do have RG, but it wont kick you for not having RG either).
