He is absolutely right. If you are having trouble with RenGuard saying "bad game.exe" and you are confident that your game.exe isn't bad, then:
#1) Turn off auto-launching Renegade
#2) Relaunch RenGuard
#3) Wait a few minutes
#4) Start Renegade manually
