Are you sure nobody is getting infected? When I got this norton problem what i did was highlight svkp and all it said was "svkp.sys"

When I deleted it and replaced it with a good coppy I got what I should have:

Description: SVKP Driver for NT
Company: AntiCracking
FileVersion: 4.0.1341.1
Size: 2.31 KB

The first file was of a different size too. It was corrupted. I know a few people with Norton who has not got the problem.

Also I have not updated my virus deffinitions in a long time and they don't just update themselves. So I do expect it was a virus going around somehow.

I have a fresh svkp. Reformating is NOT the answer.
