MSN = OFF
ICQ = OFF
KaZaA = OFF
Outlook Express = OFF
eDonkey / eMule = OFF
IRC or other chats = OFF

Update ALL your drivers.

Expecially your Graphic Card drivers

Get DirectX 9.0a

If none helped: You could try to change your gamesettings to low or normal instead of HIGH...... That usually helps
