I don't know if you're a religious man, but I'm praying for you and all of our overseas troops. You're going through hell so we back in the States don't have to. I can't tell you how much I appreciate it. I feel cheap in just saying these words; I only wish there was something more I could do (too young to sign up myself). Thanks so much for the prayers Many people do many things in support for us troops wether directly or indirectly and it's deeply appreciated. No one should feel cheap about writing words of appreciation for the soldiers, it's a boost for many that are away from friends & family ... Thank you again!

Yes, the near miss was an eye opener. We've heard that the insurgents have very old mortors / rockets which is why only about 1 out of 5 go off, but they might just get darn lucky one day and all go off. I guess the odds were in my/our favour this time.
I shall do everything in my power to ensure my team and I return.
