You should have shell access to start your server under linux.
http://search.msn.com/results.aspx?q=putty+download&FORM =QBFF

Login on the server using putty for example, then you should
change the directory to where your RenegadeFDS is installed.

type: ./RenegadeServer
to start it.

If the above doesnt really help you i suggest you email the guys
who are providing you the server and ask them for step by step
instructions.
