when hosing a game that you want to play uncheck the "Dedicated server" box.
As for commands on a normal server the only ones you would normally use are listed if you hit:
"~" !Help
/|\ i think thats right, but not sure. If not it will say what the actual command it.

On another note, while were talking about it, i forgot the WOL command to PM someone while ingame. So if anyone knows, let me know.
