msgtpain | so, you're sending a message from gmail, to your new mail server, but you don't get that message when you check the account through Outlook Express. (?)
Do you get them back as undelivered on your gmail account? This is also where the logs will come in handy, they should tell you point blank if a connection was received from gmail, who the SMTP was for and if it was successful.
If gmail isn't getting them back, and they simply are not getting to your mail server, then somethings whacked Assuming DNS and everything is all current and your domain MX record is pointing to your IP address, it should all work.. but if those aren't correct, gmail should be getting it back anyway.
