On the Live 5.1, there is a Line Level output (headphone plug) that should be empty. You should be able to use this adapter to go from that to an Input in your stereo (not phono, VCR/DVD/Tape are ok).
1/8" adapter stereo phone to two RCA plugs
Make sure its stereo. Note: This will only output the sounds from the front 2 speakers due to sound cards configurations.
