I have used the clear scope in the past and i would say it gives you (the player) an advantage. I suck at sniping anyway, but with a clear scope skin my sniping vastly improved. Then when i got RG i had a tiny problem with setting it up (me = computer tard in many aspects) so i removed everything, re-installed ren and didnt bother looking for any of my skins. (apart from the moo cow flame tank coz that just rocks) And i was back to sucking at sniping again.

Im not saying its cheating, i dont really think it is. But it did help me snipe better (meaning i could hit the stationary orca after 2 shots-no i really was THAT BAD at sniping :rolleyes: )

But what Nasty said is also true, some people consider n00bjets, camping etc cheating or unfair. But the maps themselves are one-sided. Look at HG, GDI can only hit the ref from the hill without having to repair constantly. NOD can hit the ref and PP. If you wanna make sure your opponents have no more advantages than you, play in a pure mode server.
