I'm pretty sure theirs a fix for that. ask on the linux help IRC channel.

I installed linux on a test machine no problem and its awsome. Now on my real server I would of had to reformat with new partitions to dual boot so I transfered to full linux. The things being a pain in the but and either freezes in install or just once everythings done hangs up Mad

I think I got it working this time(6th time reinstalling on this box...)
