What does it mean when RG says "Unable to initialize network, perhaps your firewall is incompatible with RenGuard"?

I'm running basic ZoneAlarm and I've tried it with ZA both on and off.

What's wrong?

There was a time when people were impressed that I have the firepower to decimate a planet in under 10 minutes.
