I wouldn't say that all of the protesters are stupid, well not all of them anyways. I would say that most of them are just uninformed and ignorant of the facts, perpetuated by a liberal media in the US. Whenever I watch the news I take it with a grain of salt, meaning that I always consider the other untold side of the story. Having been in Kuwait during Desert Storm I've seen first hand the atrocities of the Iraqi regime, I've talked with the Kuwaitis and understand their plight. The war on Iraq is not only to find weapons of mass destruction, but to remove a brutal dictator before he becomes another Hitler. I truly believe that Saddam would or already has given chemical or biological weapons to terrorist organizations. This is why he is a threat to not only the US, but to the entire world. He cares for nothing but his own perpetual reign of power. He is truly of the same caliber of Hitler and Mussolini, although he has been in power at least 3 times longer.
