This is definitally your firewall blocking RenGuard.
Try to turn it off, see if that works.
If that works, it's your firewall now allowing renguard properly.

Firewall is not blcoking it because it pops up and asks, of course I said yes.
Not memeory, because I restarted my computer tried and it didnt work (and repeated twice).
Here is what it looks like:
I use Windows 98 SE btw
This happens everytime
(note: In the picture I tried to capture the close dialog box, but it didnt show...it said: Renguard 1.03 "[Not Responding]" )
