Hmmm.... what would I prefer... Playing in an empty server with no cheaters, or playing in a populated server with the possibility of cheaters....

If you download Renguard, you don't have to play on a Renguard server. It doesn't restrain you to that. So what's the harm in downloading it? That is unless you cheat yourself and don't want Renguard to detect it.
