The game is definitely worth buying when it comes out. Get the demo as soon as you can so you can start practicing.

As for the Orcas, well they would have been cool, but once you play the game for awhile you'll realize that they just don't fit into the gameplay style. It's a ground based game and it would just unbalance everything to have aircraft in it. The demo map really isn't designed with aircraft in mind either, as I imagine many multiplayer maps probably aren't.
