I went to the end of my street, at the park, and watched the fireworks show from the shore with a couple of friends.

It was an amazing show. This is pre-show with the boats getting into position for the best view of the blasts...

And the actual fireworks:

My area is extremely hilly so I went up on one and watch the "shows." There were four different firework shows going on in my town and it was amazing to watch. I wish I took my camera and set in on 2 minute expose, you can get awesome pictures.

Wow, you have an extremely nice camera. That must of been pretty to watch.

Hehe, sometimes love living up in Washington, they allow a lot of fireworks to be sold up here.

I didn't just watch "one," the show lasted for almost an hour and I got tired of sitting on my ass on the park bench when the show ended. I have more images but most of them are a bit blurry because I was watching the fireworks as I was taking the images.

Me and a couple of my friends didn't go to a fireworks show, but had a lot more fun elsewhere. For a year or two everyone just sort of had fireworks sitting around, and last night we all got together and set them all of. I'm guessing we had at least 15 pounds of fireworks, maybe more, maybe less. Except one of my friends had Roman Candles on steroids, they made a huge cannon sound and blasted an enormous orb 100 + feet. I took some clips with a video camera, but I doubt they turned out well in the low light. Anyways, it was fun.

I wish I'd brought my dads AE-1 to Patonite's. I could have gotta a shot of the entire fireworks show since I can manually control the shutter speed. Maybe next time.
