Sound interesting?

Personally, I would love to see him become President. I wouldn't care which party he'd run in, I'd still vote for him. He's served BOTH parties as a Secretary, and he's done a damn good job at them as well.

So, what do you think?

In certain circumstances I might agree. But Gen. Powell stance on several key issues is either weak or down right indefensible. He waits too long to make decisions and is too willing to bow to the "World", ie the French or the bloody Germans.

I would vote for him. I like the General.

Also, I heard that Sen. Mackane (sp) from AZ was one of the people listed as a potential running mate with Kerry. That might make me think twice about not voting for Kerry.

McCain doesn't want to be a part of Kerry's campaign. Though the Democrats say that McCain could be the one to "unify the nation", he is with Bush all the way.

I'm the bawss.

McCain isn't with Bush 100%. he just doesn't want to be Kerry's VP. McCain says he won't consider being Kerry's running mate, but he remembers South Carolina during the Republican primaries in 2000. I think he wants to steal the Republican nomination for president from Bush and be elected president instead of VP.

By the way - Yay, the green party turned down Ralph Nader to run.

Also, I just got back from a week-long vacation.

Nader was not turned down; he chose to run as an Independent. He has also elected Peter Camejo, a possible Green Party presidential candidate, as his VP running mate.

Regardless, he's not running with the Green party.

I think the Greens already chose their candidate. David Cobbs, if I remember correctly. Doesn't matter, though. All they can do is hurt Kerry's chances of winning the election, which is good.

Well, if by good you mean bad, then yes, it is good.

And the Green Party really isn't going to take many votes from any candidate this year, because they say they will only be campaigning in non-swing states, merely to spread their beliefs to others without hurting other candidate's chances.
