I keep getting a weird error that ive never gotten with renguard ever... i was even using it lastnight and nothing seemed to be wrong... But now when i try to run, it does this...

Now ive never done anything with my firewall , so im not sure how the hell this is just all of a sudden happening.....

If anyone can either tell me how to change my firewall settings, or tell me exactly what that means, id muchly appreciate it.

Good to know its not just me getting this error, because i looked upon my settings , and both my firewalls are turned completly off, so there is no way it could even detect one...

I guess ill just sit back and wait till crimson, or blazer fixes this problem.

not true.

But for now use game2.exe located in the renegade directory. It will bypass the renguard program. Unfortunatly RenGuard is still running for those server currently using it, so you probably won't be able to join those ones.

For now I'll be stuck using game2.exe I guess :rolleyes:


The problem is, i want to play on renguard only servers, because i dont trust any of the non renguard servers, to many people using bones.ini....

Thats the thing, up until today, ive ran renguard perfectly fine with no errors, and even was on lastnight, and no errors..

So between lastnight and this morning, someone seems to have either tampered with my settings, or something more serious is going on here..

I even made sure my firewall was completly off, and it still tells me that im getting the firewall errors.

Well i guess i dont know what to do, other then to just wait for someone who works with renguard to respond.

It never happened for me either, same for a ton of my friends, until earlier it worked fine, then it went out. So far, since my last post, it's only been able to connect to server 2... I just hope it doesn't go down for me or anyone else again without warning. Crying or Very Sad

Well the problem seems to have gotten worse now.. Renguard freezes up upon loading just the screen, then it stops responding..

Crimson.. blazer... hello im in the dark here some one turn on the light.
