I made a soundpack for some of the weapons in Renegade. Smile

Readme

--- Start Readme ---

--- Renegade Sound Pack Version 1.0 ---

Includes Sounds For:

-Shotgun
-Humm-vee
-Grenade Launcher
-Rifle
-Pistol
-GDI APC

--- Best Quality Sounds ---

Rifle
Humm-vee
GDI APC

--- How To Install ---

1. Open up your unzipping program, which you must of already have.

2. Extract all files except this readme to your Renegade Data folder, default is: C:\Westwood\Renegade\Data\

3. Boot up Renegade, and enjoy your new gun sounds!

There preddy kool, but the reload sound doesnt match the replacment weapon I use so I wont use all of them Razz

May I suggest simply looking in the presets useing LE? They have all the names of the sounds in there

or u can take the exsisting renegade sounds and throw them into a sound editing program and redo them your self. thats what i did with my rifle_fire.wav. i found a wav file called alt rocket fire. and chopped off all but the front and now my rifle sounds really beefy.

A few of the sounds had problems. The pistol fire didnt sound the way it was supposed to and when you fire about 20 rifle bullets the sound disappears.

When you fire about 20 rifle bullets the sound disappears.



Renegade has trouble doing sounds, or it just might be your soundcard.
